Hands down the best gyro in around the city: crispy on the edges, juicy, and oh dear lord is the PHILLY GYRO a gift from the Greek Gods. There is no question the owner made sure he kept the taste of the gyrosauthentic, but there is something about the philly that blows up my tastes buds! The hummus is well worth the attention as well. The FRESHLY MADE hummus has a particularly nice lemon zest that I have yet to experience elsewhere. I have been to practically all the top rated Mediterranean joints around the city, and I have to say GYRO GYRO is among the best. The staff is friendly, the entire place seems to constantly remain spotless (I've been about 5 times since I found out about it a couple months ago), and the food is ALWAYS good (and plenty of it).

YUM!!!!! Wraps, plates, salads, hummus, spanakopita, baklava! This place has delicious food. I stopped by for a gyro one day and found that they also have great grilled chicken, souvlaki (grilled marinated pork loin), mahi mahi, spanakopita (spinach and feta cheese quiche), and veggie wraps, plates, and salads. Not to mention Greek salad, Greek fries, hummus, baklava, homemade rice pudding, and Frappe (Greek iced coffee). I would recommend this to anyone out there!!!!

    BYOB and Sooo Good!!
Found this place about 2 months ago through some friends and I have been hooked ever since. One of the only places that I know that I can bring my own beer or bottle of wine, love that. The falaful is one of my favs but the salads are huge and soooo good. If you like gyros and all the sauce you can eat, this is the spot. A must try for everyone.

    Greek Salad
The best Greek salad in our area, lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, onions, real grilled chicken breast (not squiggly chicken parts) and the best dressing! All super fresh and more than u can eat. The humus is also killer. That's all I can comment on, I've had it 5 times and I'll have it again next time!

    Gyro Gyro, Dunwoody GA

I went to Gyro Gyro in Dunwoody with my daughter for lunch today for the first time. My daughter is a vegetarian and had mahi mahi on top of a Greek salad which was excellent. I ordered a souvlaki plate with a double salad as I had sworn off french fries.
However someone who was taking out a plate with french fries said that they were incredible so I had the souvlaki, french fries, salad, and pita bread. Everything was great and the portions were huge. The french fries were the best I have ever had (very crispy on the outside and potatoey on the inside and they did not seem greasy at all) and the salad was great--very fresh and crisp with lettuce, chopped onions, cucumber, lots of slices of ripe tomato, kalamata olives (and pepperoncini). The oil and vinegar dressing was really light which I really liked and I also tried their special sauce on my souvlaki and some of my salad.
The food was so good that I ordered dinner to take home for my family. In addition to...

I stop by here about once a week to eat a quiet lunch alone and se the free wifi. I always look forward to it and cut a slice out of my day to make time for a visit. I worked at an authentic Greek restaurant for years so I know my Greek food. Gyro gyro is so good! The falafel is some of the best I have ever had- cooked perfectly and the flavor is delicious. The salads are so fresh, crisp, colorful and flavorful. Every ingredient they use seems very fresh and everything is so flavorful. Try the hummus all 3 ways, the falafel plate and of course you can't go wrong with the gyro. the staff is so nice and friendly. The interiors have that nice Greek feel and are always super, super clean- a rare treat for authentic Greek cuisine from my experience. I drive all the way from buckhead to come here. Yum!

I stopped by Gyro Gyro with a friend for an early lunch after the gym last week. I had a chicken pita sandwich with a greek salad. My friend had a gyro and fries. My sandwich was delicious, the salad was fresh and crisp... Admittedly, I cleared my plate. My friend allowed me to try a few of her fries, which were seasoned with greek spices. We dipped them in the zazeeki sauce.. so good. I also tried an iced greek coffee. The interior of the restaurant looks clean and newly remodeled, but we ate outside on the patio and enjoyed the sunny weather.

The best Greek salad in the area, bar none!  That's all I've ever had (5 visits) because it's so damned good!  Get it with grilled chicken breast (real chicken breast not some squiggly chicken parts like the other places).  Be sure to try the humus it is also outstanding!

It's owned by a Greek family and serves an authentic variety of food.  Seems like everything is made fresh, and you must order the fries on the side!!  Only thing missing is a wine menu.

Yum!  This place is great.  I ordered a gyro platter that included gyro meat, pita, Greek salad, and fries.  The best part was the gyro meat, which the owner told me was ordered from Chicago and was freshly sliced off the roasting machine in the back.  It was fresh, juicy, and succulent.  (I've eaten a lot of dry, processed gyro meat in my day, and this was no old canned stuff.) They have a tzatziki sauce that's decent, good fries and salad.  Clean restaurant and excellent service.  I would stop here for lunch or dinner anytime.

The food was so good that I ordered dinner to take home for my family.  In addition to the salads I ordered and have now tried the hummus which was great with both the carrot slices and pita bread (which is very moist), the grilled chicken plate, and truly fabulous spanikopita. And I still have leftovers from lunch today. And after lunch and dinner we still have enough food for lunch tomorrow.

The service is very knowledgeable, friendly, and fast, and the decor is definitely fresh, clean, and attractive. Overall I was very excited to discover Gyro Gyro and plan to go back frequently.  If I lived nearby I would be there several times a week. The food is very tasty, healthy, the portions are huge, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity.

I finally decided to check this place out after hearing about it for a while, and I liked it so much that I ate there twice the same week!

I went there both for lunch and dinner, once ordering a wrap and once a plate.  The prices are extremely fair considering the huge portion sizes and how delicious the food is.  The wraps come with a choice of a salad or fries, and the plates come with salad, fries, and pita.  A wrap and salad at lunch was just enough to fill me up, and I couldn't even finish my dinner because it included so much food.  Also, their special sauce is delicious.  It's perfect for dipping the Greek fries.

The owners were personable and were very interested in knowing what I thought about the food.  They even offered suggestions about what to order and explained the menu items to me.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good Greek food.  Their menu also includes some popular Middle Eastern dishes like falafel.

I think this is a great new Dunwoody establishment, and I'd like to see them succeed.

I have been here many times, and tried a few of the items. I have to give it two thumbs up.  The Gyros are great, and the salads are great, and the portions are great.  It is relatively close to work, and is a great lunch place, I have taken many coworkers, and they all love it.  Happy that there is a place in this part of town to get great food.

About time this neighborhood to have tastes of Greece. We stopped by today with my wife and ordered their gyro. It was really delicious. The Gyro is authentic the meat has a wonderful taste. We were in a hurry and didn't spent more than 15 minuts.

Service was fantastic and  quick, price was more than right, and the place very clean.

It hit the spot!!

Gyro Gyro has everything that you may ask from a non-franchise restaurant.  The people are warm and passionate about their food and you can even taste that in your mouth with every bite. I had the fish gyro which was absolutely amazing.  The pita bread was warm, the fish was cooked to perfection, light and flavorful, and the salad was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back.  Friends have recommended the spicy hummus so expect an update on yelp soon....

Gyro Gyro is one of the best Gyro's I've had in Atlanta! It was so good I took my sister back and tried the Greek Chicken Salad. I'm a big guy but there was so much chicken on the salad I was struggling to finish it.! All the food was fresh and tasty and the price is ridiculously low. About 5 bucks for a gyro and fries or salad. You can't argue with that. I agree with everyone on the hummus too. My favorite is roasted red peppers, but don't sleep on the baklava, I was in heaven with the baklava sundae. Definitely going back here. It's good to my taste buds and easy on my wallet! Way to go Gyro Gyro!

I ordered the chicken plate and didn't feel shorted at all, the portions are enough to eat good and still have some to enjoy later! The chicken was juicy and the tzaziki sauce was so good! Perfect relaxed atmoshphere to take kids out to dinner, there is even a courtyard like area to sit outside to eat. Good food and good people!

Gyro Gyro is awesome!! We had a gyro, chicken gyro plate, and spanakopita. Best greek food in town, and a great deal! You could tell they use higher quality and fresher ingredients than other places. The meat was super tender and perfectly seasoned. The greek fries are incredible! This place is going to be my new addiction! The homemade hummus is amazing too! Highly Recommended!!
